Congratulations to Seckford for winning the Cranworth Final 4.5 to 1.5. The results do not reflect how close the games were before they turned onto the back 9 there was mostly only one point between the teams.
The Seckford team consisted of Val Jones (team captain), Bev Versey & Julie Cook, Karen Haskins & Sharon Graves (foursomes). Susie Blackett, Jan Connett, Louise Brown & Angela Sherring (Singles)
The trophy was presented to Val Jones by Tanya Mcgregor, Suffolk Ladies Captain.
Diss team consisted of Jenny Chamberlin & Sandra Bowman, Sam Edwards & Helena Honour, (foursomes), Jenny Dartnell, Philippa Bridges, Diane Leeder (team captain), Katherine Allen, (singles).
Thanks to Bungay Golf Club for hosting and Jeff Delanders for referring on the day and helping with the rules. This was Kathy Holmes first year of organising the Cranworth competitions and she has done an excellent job.
