Aldeburgh Golf Club

The squad were at Aldeburgh GC on Sunday 19 April for a training session with Keith Preston. We had 2 groups, as 21 enthusiastic and committed players turned up for a 2 hour coaching session. Keith gave us valuable match play tips, statistics that showed that golfers have unrealistic expectations, (sounds familiar) and confidence comes from acceptance. Keith gave the squad chipping and putting drills that will improve our short game and importantly were measurable to see development.
It was encouraging that everyone came away with renewed enthusiasm and looking forward to practicing with a greater sense of purpose. As the session was a great success we will be arranging another date with Keith in the coming weeks
