The 2019 Division 2 Medal competition was held at Gorleston Golf Club on Thursday 12th September. The sun was shining and it was a beautiful day, with a much welcomed light breeze a bit later on. 40 ladies took part from 10 different clubs. There was a one tee start from 9:40 am. A huge thanks to the lady captain, Andree Bloomfield and her lovely group of ladies who looked after us very well and also to Gorleston Golf Club staff who were very helpful and enabled us to have a great day. The lunch after the golf was excellent. Thank you to our President Mo Pearson who came and helped with the results and also presented the prizes. I think everyone who participated will agree that it was a great day.
1st Scratch and winner of the Sybil Draper Cup with a score of 92 – Rebecca Draper from Diss
1st Nett – Claire Woods from Halesworth (73 points)
2nd Nett – Sue Russell from Bury St Edmunds (73 points OCB)
3rd Nett – Sally Clarke from Kingfisher (73 points OCB)
The Joan O’Meara Shield for the best team was won by Kingfisher:
