The County Girls Championship’s was held at Bury St Edmunds on Friday 30th May. We had a small but determined field to play the 36 hole championship.
The girls were playing off the blue tee’s making it a challenge of over 6000 yards! A tough test, but one they took on with great determination!
After round one, Jasmine Points (Bury St Edmunds) took a one shot lead into the final 18 holes over Josie Knights (Ipswich). Jasmine produced a stunning final round of 76 to win the Championship with rounds of 80 and 76. 5 shots clear of runner up Josie.

The nett was also close with all girls having a chance of winning! The nett was won by Imogen Potter who had two very consistent rounds especially off those blue tees.
