On Sunday 11th May, Suffolk ladies played their annual match against Woodbridge Men’s Hambro Team. Woodbridge looked magnificent in the May Sunshine for this annual friendly match of Foursome Scratch Matchplay. The scoring was even after the front 9 but the Woodbridge Men possessed the upper hand on the trickier back nine and played exceptionally well.
The Squad were very impressed by the condition of the course and the refurbished clubhouse; those entering the County Championships there this weekend are in for a treat.
Matches were played off scratch from the Green and Red Tees and the Men’s Par for the course, hambro scoring.
