Players can enter with an HI of up to 23.1 but must play off a maximum HI of 21.9
DIVISION 1 – Medal up to 13.9 at Felixstowe Ferry GC on Sunday 20th September 2026
Players can enter with an HI of up to 15.1 but must play off a maximum HI of 13.9

2026 Division 2 Meeting
CONGRATULATIONS TO LIZ MESSENT – DIVISION 2 CHAMPION
At the Division 2 Meeting on 26th September, 28 ladies enjoyed a beautiful sunny day at Ufford Park Golf Club. The course proved quite tricky, with odd bounces and fairways which, like most clubs, have still not fully recovered from the summer heat and drought.
The winner of the Sybil Green Cup, with a gross medal score of 93 was Liz Messent from Ipswich Golf Club, with Maureen Sheron from Fynn Valley second with gross 95.

The nett winner was Manuela Ward from Brett Vale with nett 77, on count back from Hollie Watson and Catherine Le Tue both also from Brett Vale and also with nett 77.

The Joan O’Meara Shield – awarded to the best three scores of ladies from the same home club – went to (inevitably!) to Brett Vale, with Fynn valley a close second.

2026 Division 1 Meeting
Congratulations to Abbie Symonds who won the Division 1 event at Felixstowe on Sunday 20th September.
30 ladies turned up to a warm sunny Felixstowe for the Division Meeting, which is a gross and nett medal competition for ladies with handicap index capped at a maximum of 13.9 There was a stiff cross wind from the west, but it was a beautiful day for golf. Like many golf courses, the grass has not completely recovered from the exceptional summer, but ladies reported it to be an enjoyable but hard test of skill.
The Sybil Green Trophy for the best gross score went to Abbie Symonds from Ipswich Golf Club with 78
2nd Alice Barlow of Bury St Edmunds with 80
3rd Vicki Hunt also from Ipswich Golf Club with 82
The nett competition was won by Ella Woodward from Felixstowe Ferry with nett 69 (gross 83)
2nd Karen Larby from Ipswich with nett 71 (gross 82)
The Division 1 Challenge Shield, awarded for the best three gross scores from players from the same home club was won by Ipswich (Abbie Symonds, Vicki Hunt and Karen Larby) with 245, with Felixstowe Ferry Golf Club second with 259.
A superb welcome was provided by Felixstowe, who, despite the lack of clubhouse facilities, produced great food and ambience and enabled all attending to enjoy a thoroughly good day!
2026 Division 3 Meeting
The Division 3 meeting was held at Royal Worlington, and the weather gods were with us – a lovely Spring Day with no rain.
The course was dry and “links” like with dips and banks that couldn’t be seem and the greens were very challenging; the scores for the day reflecting how “tricky” the course was found to be!
Jill Dale from Seckford was the winner of the Silver Quaich with a blistering 32 Stableford points, with Chris Kilgallen from Bramford just missing out with a score of 31 Stableford points.
The 3rd Division Team Shield was won by Bramford (Jo Brown, Marianne Hall, Chris Kilgallen) with a total of 88 Stableford points with the team from Seckford coming in 2
A huge thankyou to the team at Worlington who made us feel so welcome – the food was excellent and most welcome after our endeavours!

2026 Division 4 Meeting
The weather gods could not have been kinder for the Division 4 meeting held at Rushmere Golf Club on Sunday
26th April 2026; for ladies with handicaps of 32 and above and 26 ladies from 9 clubs took part.
Lyn Martin from Ipswich Golf Club mastered the challenging course and came in with a magnificent 45 Stableford points to secure her name on the Olive Carruthers Cup.
The Division 4 Shield – the best 3 scores added together from ladies from one club was won by Bramford (Karen Forbester, Nikki Ruffles and Gabby Green) with an overall team score of 118
Our grateful thanks to Rushmere for hosting the event – there are not enough superlatives to describe the welcome and service extended to our ladies on the day by both the ladies’ section and staff – it was exemplary!
