The Ladies County Golf Association is delighted to have joined the list of Suffolk Clubs that have been awarded the SafeGolf standard by England Golf. It is a prerequisite that all will be able to enjoy their golf in a secure and well-ordered environment and that careful records will be kept.
The SafeGolf Partnership consists of members from the golfing bodies across Great Britain & Ireland and has been established to help golf respond to the issue of child protection in sport. Its mission is to safeguard the welfare of children and young people, as well as ‘adults at risk’ in the sport of golf.
Training and records will be kept up to date and all information will remain accurate. A Support Officer is available at England Golf to answer any questions and offer help at any time.
A copy of the Accreditation Certificate which will be issued as soon as the pandemic allows is shown on the Safeguarding page of the website, under ‘Useful Information’.
The SafeGolf standard will be assessed annually by our Club Support Officer, Stuart McCallum Tel: 07506 444082, stuart.mccallum999@btinternet.com
