East Herts Golf Club

We played a friendly away against Hertfordshire at East Herts GC on 8 April and it was the warmest day of the year so far. As always, we were warmly welcomed by the Club and their hospitality was faultless.
The squad comprised of Trudy Read, Viv Leech, Nicki McMahon, Liz Bezance, Jude Hanner, Jane Ford, Liz Cole and Gillian Smith. It was 4BBB off scratch, even though all the matches were close (with two of them being decided on the 18th) we were unable to secure a point. The pairings of Trudy/Viv and Liz B/Nicki deserve a special mention for giving us hope that we might steal a point.
